Presented by Samsung, the show unfolded at the Sydney Modern Project at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, with much of the Australian style set in attendance. Guests spotted arriving at the show included Malaan Ajang, Aiyana Alexander, Rowi Singh and Jessica Vander Leah, who wore looks from Aje’s Pre-Fall 23 collection, as well as the upcoming Spring 23 collection.
Backstage, Beauty Director Isabella Schimid created the Resort 24 models’ raw beauty look by preparing their complexions with Elizabeth Arden’s Advanced Light Ceramide Lift And Firm Day Cream and the Eight Hour Cream range to create a hydrated and dewy base.
To enhance their features and allow the skin’s natural texture to be seen, she continued by using the venerable cosmetics house’s Lip Color Lipstick for a fresh look with a soft, summery glow, adding a wash of colour to the cheeks and pout.
Styled to look undone with a touch of polish, models’ locks were finessed with ghd tools and products. Looking to reflect the raw yet elevated aesthetic of the collection, Hair Director Pauline McCabe worked with each muse’s natural texture to create a look of undone elegance, roughly slicking back their strands while creating volume at the root with a hint of texture.
