KEEPING A HEALTHY BODY, MIND AND SOUL
Shelter at Home has been a true-life saver for me. I spin every day to set up my daily routine. It is my daily motivator to get me out of bed and wake me up. I like a high intensity work out to exhaust physical energy, which can become tricky when you are at home all day. - I just finished Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. It is not usually type of book I would usually read, but it was such an enthralling adventure, I couldn't put it down. I started following @wellread__ and will get inspiration for my next from there.
Currently listening to The Weeknd's new album, Orville Peck and I love the FashionGoneRouge (by influencer Debora Rosa) playlist on Spotify for a WFH mood.
My favourite walk near me, typical but Bondi-Bronte. I usually head down there quite early, and there's not many people around and I can see the sun rise! I like to be by the ocean, so it's nice to get the fresh air and always the view.
To keep Zen and productive - I have been sticking to my normal routine, wake up, exercise, get ready, and put on an outfit for my workday. Routine keeps me in check and motivated. I have had so much time to sort out the house, and keep it organized, it's become my little oasis with the perfect ambience to keep productive in.
As for down time, I cannot get enough - I finally can checkoff so many things on my list, cleaning out my wardrobe, baking, working on creative projects.
Also definitely keeping in touch with my friends via Instagram, WhatsApp or Houseparty is keeping me happy. I might not be able to see them physically, but a video call (sometimes with a wine), really lifts my day.
